Regards the dollar caps on certain damages in civil actions

To amend sections 2305.01, 2307.80, 2315.18, 2315.21, 2323.43, 2744.05, and 3345.40 of the Revised Code to increase the dollar caps on noneconomic damages and punitive or exemplary damages in civil actions and to provide a procedure for the Department of Taxation to make annual adjustments of those caps based on the consumer price index.

Enact the Baby Bonus Act

To amend section 5747.98 and to enact section 5747.74 of the Revised Code to create an income tax credit for employers that provide a childbirth bonus and to name this act the Baby Bonus Act.

Make elected officials mandatory child abuse, neglect reporters

To amend section 2151.421 of the Revised Code to make elected officials mandatory reporters of child abuse and neglect.

To amend section 4501.21 and to enact section 4503.742 of the Revised Code to create the "COSI" specialty license plate.

Establish paramedicine programs; require insurance coverage

To enact sections 3902.65, 4765.362, and 5164.11 of the Revised Code to establish community paramedicine programs and to require insurance coverage for services provided under those programs.

Prohibit certain actions re: reimbursing 340B covered entities

To amend sections 3902.50 and 3902.70; to amend, for the purpose of adopting a new section number as indicated in parentheses, section 3902.72 (3902.75); and to enact new section 3902.72 of the Revised Code to prohibit drug manufacturers from taking certain actions regarding reimbursements made to 340B covered entities.

Urge designation of illicit fentanyl a weapon of mass destruction

To urge the 119th Congress to introduce and pass legislation similar to the Stop Our Scourge Act of 2023, directing the Secretary of Homeland Security to designate illicit fentanyl as a weapon of mass destruction.

Expand State Highway Patrol jurisdiction; candidate security

To amend section 5503.02 of the Revised Code to expand the jurisdiction of the State Highway Patrol, including providing security for the Lieutenant Governor and for gubernatorial candidates, to make an appropriation, and to declare an emergency.

To enact section 5.2324 of the Revised Code to designate October 4th as "Henrietta Lacks Day."
