Relates to parole eligibility for certain incarcerated persons age fifty-five or older if they have served at least fifteen years of their sentence or sentences.
Keeps professional sports franchises in their home communities by requiring franchise owners offer the franchise for sale prior to relocating or eliminating the franchise.
Authorizes an occupancy tax in the town of Amherst, county of Erie, not to exceed 2.5%.
Prohibits the department of corrections from placing incarcerated individuals in two-person cells in residential rehabilitation units unless such incarcerated individuals agree.
Imposes corporate fines for violations of certain provisions of law.
Provides tenants with the right to execute leases and rental agreements electronically.
Provides exceptions from the requirement of specificity in pleadings in certain cases involving sexual offenses.
Authorizes a licensed pharmacist to administer any recommendations made by the commissioner of health pertaining to a vaccine that has been authorized by the federal Food and Drug Administration; relates to insurance coverage for immunizations; removes the requirement to follow the advisory committee on immunization practices of the centers for disease control and prevention recommendation for immunization against meningococcal disease.
Provides that when a drug is designated or rescheduled by the federal government, it shall be deemed scheduled under NYS law automatically, without further action by the commissioner.
Restricts the use of prediction markets and/or mobile sports wagering platforms by officers or employees of a state agency, members of the legislature or legislative employees when using information acquired by such public officer in the course of their official duties.
