Create the manufacturing technologies assistance grant program

Establishes a grant program for Ohio manufacturers to adopt and integrate manufacturing technologies and invest in industrial infrastructure.

The bill creates the manufacturing technologies assistance program within the Department of Development. Eligible manufacturers can apply for grants to fund projects aimed at increasing productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness through the adoption of manufacturing technologies and investment in industrial infrastructure. To be eligible, a manufacturer must, among other things, have operated in Ohio for at least three years, derive at least 51% of gross revenue from the sale of manufactured goods, and provide matching funds equal to the requested grant amount.
