Ohio HB42 requires agencies to collect and report data on the citizenship or immigration status of individuals they serve.

Ohio HB42 mandates that certain agencies collect and report data on the citizenship or immigration status of individuals they serve. County departments of job and family services must report on the citizenship status of households receiving benefits. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services must report on the citizenship status of households receiving cash assistance and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits. The Department of Medicaid must report on the number of qualified aliens enrolled in and applying for Medicaid.
