Authorizes Cranston to issue no more $25,000,000 obligation bonds, notes, evidences of indebtedness to finance the purchase and/or acquisition of land/buildings, construction, renovation, improvement, alteration, repair, landscaping, furnishing, equipping

Authorizes Cranston to issue not more than $2,000,000 general obligation bonds and temporary notes for the acquisition, demolition, construction, improvement, renovation, repair, alteration, furnishing and equipping of public buildings in the city.

MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES -- AUTOMATED TRAFFIC VIOLATION MONETARY SYSTEMS - Extends the sunsetting of the "Don't Block the Box" automated traffic detection systems from January 15, 2027, to January 15, 2030.

HIGHWAYS -- RHODE ISLAND TURNPIKE AND BRIDGE AUTHORITY - Provides that motor vehicle rental companies be entitled to establish non-liability for toll violations, administrative fees, registration penalties, and fines by providing a rental or lease agreement as prima facie evidence against a lessee.

TOWNS AND CITIES -- RELATING TO CENTRAL FALLS PENSION PLAN - Amends the terms of the pension plan set forth in the respective collective bargaining agreements in effect on July 1, 2026, between Central Falls and the labor organizations representing members of the Central Falls plan.

TOWNS AND CITIES -- GENERAL POWERS -- CITY OF WARWICK - Grants the city of Warwick the authority to sell the property located at 34 Warwick Lake Avenue, without regard for statutory limitations pursuant to § 45-2-6, to clear the title to said property.

PROPERTY -- MORTGAGES OF REAL PROPERTY - Limits mortgage prepayment rules to mortgages on owner-occupied properties with one to four (4) dwelling units.

INSURANCE -- UNFAIR CLAIMS SETTLEMENT PRACTICES ACT - Raises the percentage from eighty percent (80%) to eighty-five percent (85%) regarding declaring a vehicle a total loss.

HIGHWAYS -- RHODE ISLAND TURNPIKE AND BRIDGE AUTHORITY - Provides that motor vehicle rental companies be entitled to establish non-liability for toll violations, administrative fees, and fines by providing a rental or lease agreement as prima facie evidence that a lessee was the vehicle operator.

COURTS AND CIVIL PROCEDURE -- PROCEDURE GENERALLY -- DISTRICT COURT PRACTICE - Provides amendments to the assessment of filing fees required to appeal from certain matters adjudicated by the district court.

INSURANCE -- UNFAIR CLAIMS SETTLEMENT PRACTICES ACT - Raises the percentage from eighty percent (80%) to eighty-five percent (85%) regarding declaring a vehicle a total loss.

MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES -- REGISTRATION OF VEHICLES - Exempts certain vehicles that are not manufactured with the proper front plate registration bracket from the requirement that motor vehicles display a front facing registration plate.

Authorizes the Town of Portsmouth to issue bonds and notes in amount not exceeding $41,000,000 to finance construction, additions, renovation, improvement, alteration, repair, furnishing and equipping of schools and school facilities throughout the town.

TAXATION -- PROPERTY SUBJECT TO TAXATION - Allows the town of Tiverton to authorize, by ordinance, a real estate tax credit for seniors over the age of sixty-five (65) years.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES -- RETAIL LICENSES - Allows for the issuance of a Class B license for the property located at 102 Granite Street, in the town of Westerly.

SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES - Allows Kimberley Gaffett to join Bonnie Phyllis Nolan and David Gaffett Spier in Marriage on or about October 3, 2026, within the Town of New Shoreham.

Authorizes the Town of Portsmouth to issue bonds and notes in amount not exceeding $41,000,000 to finance construction, additions, renovation, improvement, alteration, repair, furnishing and equipping of schools and school facilities throughout the town.

Changes the date of the regional school district financial meeting for the Foster-Glocester regional school district to March 24, 2026.

TAXATION -- PROPERTY SUBJECT TO TAXATION - Exempts from taxation the real and tangible personal property of Amos House, provided it remains a qualified tax-exempt corporation pursuant to § 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.

THE NORTH TIVERTON FIRE DISTRICT - Amends the act which incorporated the North Tiverton fire district and reduces the number of tax assessors, subsequent to any voluntary resignations, from six (6) to four (4) after the annual 2026 meeting.
