Rhode Island H8625 authorizes the City of Cranston to issue up to $25,000,000 in general obligation bonds, notes, and other evidences of indebtedness to finance the purchase, acquisition, construction, renovation, improvement, alteration, repair, landscaping, furnishing, and equipping of schools and school facilities. The bonds are not eligible for state aid reimbursement unless approved by the Rhode Island Department of Education. The act requires voter approval and will take effect upon passage.
