Ohio

To amend sections 351.01, 351.021, 353.06, 5739.01, 5739.08, 5739.09, 5739.091, and 5741.01 of the Revised Code to extend sales and use taxes and local lodging taxes to short-term rentals and to require collection of those taxes by short-term rental platforms.

To enact section 3701.776 of the Revised Code regarding the creation and display of a poster containing information on veterans medical benefits.

To amend section 4501.21 and to enact section 4503.897 of the Revised Code to create the "Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr." license plate.

To recognize June as Fidelity Month in Ohio, for the purpose of rededicating the state to the values of faith, family, and patriotism.

To amend section 3745.015 and to enact sections 3745.81, 3745.82, 3745.83, 3745.84, 3745.85, 3745.86, and 3745.87 of the Revised Code to prohibit, with exceptions, the use of intentionally added PFAS in various products.

To amend section 727.011 of the Revised Code regarding special assessments for shade trees.

To amend sections 351.01, 351.021, 353.06, 4735.11, 5739.01, 5739.08, 5739.09, 5739.091, and 5741.01 and to enact section 5325.01 of the Revised Code to limit the authority of local governments to regulate short-term rental properties, to extend local lodging taxes to short-term rentals, to require collection of those taxes by short-term rental platforms, and to require real estate licenses to be issued electronically.

To amend sections 4507.01, 4507.06, 4507.13, 4507.51, and 4507.52 of the Revised Code to allow a driver's license and a state identification card to indicate that the licensee or cardholder is a Gold Star Family member.

To enact sections 3702.41, 3902.65, and 5119.172 of the Revised Code regarding behavioral health screenings in the perinatal period and to make an appropriation.

To urge the creation of an interstate compact regarding competitively bid electric transmission projects.

To amend section 4507.11 and to enact section 4506.091 of the Revised Code to require the Registrar of Motor Vehicles to administer all drivers exams in English.

To amend section 9.79; to enact new sections 4710.01, 4710.02, 4710.03, and 4710.04 and sections 4710.05, 4710.06, 4710.07, 4710.08, 4710.09, 4710.10, 4710.11, 4710.12, 4710.13, 4710.14, 4710.15, 4710.16, 4710.17, 4710.18, and 4710.19; and to repeal sections 4710.01, 4710.02, 4710.03, 4710.04, and 4710.99 of the Revised Code to provide for the licensure of debt services providers.

To amend sections 505.37, 505.48, 505.481, 3311.21, 3311.50, 3318.05, 3318.052, 3318.08, 3318.18, 3318.44, 3354.12, 3358.11, 5705.03, 5705.19, 5705.191, 5705.192, 5705.198, 5705.199, 5705.21, 5705.212, 5705.213, 5705.215, 5705.217, 5705.218, 5705.219, 5705.2111, 5705.2114, 5705.222, 5705.23, 5705.233, 5705.25, 5705.251, 5748.02, 5748.03, 5748.04, and 5748.09; to enact section 5705.171; and to repeal section 5705.261 of the Revised Code to disallow and, by 2030, eliminate property taxes levied for a continuing period of time and to name this act The Taxpayers Freedom Trilogy - Act One: Discontinuing the Continuum.

To enact section 3302.27 of the Revised Code to establish the Outstanding Citizenship Award designation on the state report card and to make an appropriation.

To amend section 5104.03 and to enact sections 5104.55 and 5104.56 of the Revised Code regarding child care services for the children of veterans and active duty military members, to name this act the Ohio Vets-Military Families Childcare Act, and to make an appropriation.

To enact sections 3314.0311, 3373.01, 3373.02, 3373.03, 3373.04, 3373.05, 3373.06, 3373.07, 3373.08, 3373.09, 3373.10, and 3373.11 of the Revised Code to enact the Student-Athlete Publicity Rights and Fair Compensation Act to address name, image, and likeness compensation for high school athletes.

To amend sections 323.152 and 4503.065 of the Revised Code to increase the amount of the standard homestead exemption.

To amend sections 9.97, 101.70, 107.43, 113.40, 117.15, 121.03, 141.01, 141.011, 3505.03, 3505.33, 3505.35, 3513.052, 3513.10, 3517.092, 3517.10, 3517.102, 3517.103, 3517.104, 3517.106, 3517.108, 3517.109, 4503.033, and 5703.01 of the Revised Code to make the Tax Commissioner a statewide elected office.

To make clear that state elected officials have a right to tour, inspect, and assess any detention facilities owned by the state at any time.

To amend sections 5739.02, 5739.03, and 5739.05 of the Revised Code to authorize a sales tax holiday for four months each year for the sale of firearm safety and storage devices.

To enact section 124.826 of the Revised Code to allow a political subdivision to participate in the same state health plan offered to state employees.
