An Act Concerning Automated Decision Systems Protections For Employees.

To establish various requirements concerning the use of automated employment-related decision systems and artificial intelligence technologies.

An Act Concerning Teachers' Disability And Retirement Benefits And Paraeducators' Salary And Retirement Contributions.

To (1) require the Teachers' Retirement Board to study changes in teachers' disability and retirement benefits, (2) establish a minimum salary for paraeducators, (3) require the Office of Policy and Management to provide stipends for the difference between the current and required minimum salary for paraeducators, and (4) require boards of education to pay paraeducator employee contributions to the municipal retirement system or any other retirement system in which such board participates.

An Act Concerning The Rebasing Of Rates Of Reimbursement For Certain Residential Facilities.

To require rebasing of rates for certain residential facilities not more often than every two years.

An Act Concerning A State-funded Caregiver Program To Assist Parents Of Persons With Autism Spectrum Disorder Enrolled In A Medicaid Waiver Program.

To provide a state-funded caregiver program for parents of children enrolled in a Medicaid waiver program.

An Act Concerning Husky C Asset Limits.

To phase-in the elimination of asset limits in the HUSKY C program.

An Act Concerning Preventing Fraud In The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program And Expressly Extending Fraud And Corruption Penalties To Public Servants.

To deter fraud in the supplemental nutrition assistance program and include federal officials among public servants subject to state laws concerning corrupt practices affecting the Medicaid program and other state programs.

An Act Supporting Local Commerce.

To (1) exempt from the sales and use taxes gas and electricity used by certain commercial and industrial businesses, (2) dedicate fifty per cent of the additional one per cent sales and use taxes imposed on meals sold by eating establishments, caterers or grocery stores to the Tourism Fund and fifty per cent to the municipality in which such revenue was generated, and (3) establish a Connecticut-India Trade Commission.

An Act Concerning Electronic Filing Of Certified Payroll And Daily Logs For Certain Public Works Projects.

To (1) require employers working on certain public works projects to submit certified payroll records electronically to the Labor Commissioner and maintain and submit daily logs for workers on site, and (2) require the Labor Commissioner to establish an online system for submission of such certified payroll records and maintain a database of such records.

An Act Concerning Health Care Affordability.

To support affordable health care in the state and mitigate the effects of federal cuts to health care premium subsidies.

An Act Concerning Penalties For Tardy Paychecks For Personal Care Attendants And Expanding Public Access To State Programs.

To require contractual safeguards for personal care attendants working in self-directed home care programs and accessible communication by state agencies and private organizations contracting with state agencies.

An Act Amending A Prior Conveyance Of Parcels Of State Land To The City Of New Haven.

To amend a prior conveyance of parcels of state land to the city of New Haven to delete a requirement for a memorandum of understanding between the city and APT Foundation, Inc.

To eliminate the statutorily prescribed amount for payment to part-time board members.

An Act Concerning Notice Requirements And Standards For The Removal Of Encampments On Property Under The Control Of The Department Of Transportation.

To require the Commissioner of Transportation to develop a plan to respond to temporary encampments by persons experiencing homelessness on any state highway right-of-way or real property in the custody of the Department of Transportation.

An Act Establishing A Personal Income Tax Deduction For Certain Losses Incurred As A Result Of Cryptocurrency Investment Fraud Or Wire Fraud.

To establish a personal income tax deduction for the amount properly deductible, for federal income tax purposes, as a loss resulting from cryptocurrency investment fraud or wire fraud.

An Act Allowing Long-term Rental Of Bedrooms In A Single-family Home As Of Right.

To allow rental of bedrooms in a single-family home as of right.

An Act Concerning Requirements For And Penalties On Holders Of Dealer Registrations Regarding Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems And Vapor Products And Manufacturer Registration Requirements Of Such Delivery Systems And Products.
