An Act Supporting "learn And Earn" Internship Opportunities.

To (1) require support for paid internship programs at small businesses, (2) provide grants to students who receive federal Pell grants to assist such students in obtaining internships, (3) require institutions of higher education to report about internship opportunities offered through such institutions, (4) establish a state quality seal for quality internships, (5) extend the human capital investment tax credit for salaries paid to interns, and (6) establish a grant program for nonprofit organizations to offset the cost of salaries paid to interns.

An Act Concerning Streaming Video Services And The Volume Of Commercial Advertisements.

To (1) provide that no streaming video service shall transmit the audio of any commercial advertisement at a volume that is louder than the volume established by the Federal Communications Commission for television broadcast stations or multichannel video programming distributors, and (2) authorize the Commissioner of Consumer Protection to issue a time-limited waiver from the volume limitation in the event of a significant financial hardship.

An Act Increasing The Compensation Of State Properties Review Board Members.

To increase the membership of the State Properties Review Board from six members to eight members and increase the compensation of members of the board.

An Act Concerning The Use Of Artificial Intelligence And Other Means To Generate Deceptive Synthetic Media And Affect Elections.

To prohibit distribution of certain deceptive synthetic media within the ninety-day period preceding an election or primary.

An Act Implementing The Recommendations Of The Risk-limiting Audits Working Group.

To implement the recommendations of the risk-limiting audits working group.

An Act Concerning Security Of Election Administration Processes, Elections Sites, Election Workers And Electors.

To (1) establish prohibitions on certain conduct, including the possession of a firearm or deadly weapon, at or near certain elections-related locations, (2) impose criminal penalties for harassment of election workers and tampering with or unauthorized sharing of election equipment, and (3) allow for Attorney General involvement in matters relating to subpoenas, warrants, other requests and alleged interference with elections.

An Act Concerning A Payroll Tax And Structural Efficiency In The Collection Of Such Tax And Establishing An Administrative Efficiency Account For The Reduction Of Certain Consumer Charges.

To modernize state revenue collection of payroll expense through an employer administrative optimization program, establish a structural efficiency dividend to be applied to the reduction of public benefits charges on electric bills and provide for the enhancement of employee retirement assets through qualifying retirement investment plans.

An Act Concerning Community Partnership Opportunity Agreements.

To establish a community partnership opportunity program and agreement framework to expand educational achievement and workforce skills in communities experiencing persistent economic disadvantages.

An Act Replacing The Cannabis Total Thc Tax With An Excise Tax.

To replace the cannabis tax based on total THC with an excise tax of ten and seventy-five-hundredths per cent.

An Act Concerning Staffing In The Unemployment Insurance Benefits Division In The Labor Department.

To increase the number of staff at the Unemployment Insurance Benefits Division in the Labor Department.

An Act Concerning Educational Equity.

To increase funding for public schools.

An Act Concerning Public Transportation.

To (1) restore service on Shore Line East, (2) implement certain public transportation projects and initiatives, (3) require the Department of Transportation to provide notice of proposed fare increases, instead of any fare change, for mass transportation by land, and (4) establish programs for the purchase of bus passes for distribution to high school students and veterans.

An Act Providing Food Security For Veterans, Transitional Nutrition Assistance For Other Persons Affected By Federal Program Cuts, A Food As Medicine Waiver Program, Meals On Wheels Provider Rate Increases And Aligning Nutrition Assistance Applications With Federal Regulations.

To mitigate federal changes in the supplemental nutrition assistance program with a transitional assistance fund, expand food security with a Medicaid waiver program and increase rates for meals on wheels providers.
