An Act Concerning The University Of Connecticut Special Police Forces And Fire Department.

To (1) require the president of The University of Connecticut to (A) establish a recruitment and retention program for The University of Connecticut special police forces and fire department, and (B) submit a report on the recruitment and retention status of said special police forces and fire department, and (2) modify certain provisions relating to the establishment of classifications for said special police forces by said president.

An Act Permitting School Districts To Offer An Exemption From The Physical Education Credit Requirement To High School Students Who Participate In Interscholastic Athletics.

To permit students to use participation in interscholastic athletics to count as credit toward satisfying the physical education requirement of the high school graduation requirements.

An Act Requiring The Advisory Council On Intergovernmental Relations To Conduct A Study Concerning The Feasibility Of Authorizing Municipalities That Have Entered Into Revenue Sharing Agreements To Adopt Differential Mill Rates.

To require the Office of Policy and Management to conduct a study concerning the feasibility of authorizing municipalities that have entered into revenue sharing agreements to adopt differential mill rates.

An Act Establishing A State Short-term Rental Registry.

To establish a state short-term rental registry, authorize an optional municipal supplemental tax on short-term rentals and require short-term rental return filings to include disaggregated sales tax information.

An Act Establishing A Refundable Credit Against The Personal Income Tax For A Portion Of Annual Rent Payments Made By A Taxpayer For A Primary Residence In The State.

To establish a refundable credit against the personal income tax for a portion of annual rent payments actually made by a taxpayer for a taxable year for a primary residence in the state.

An Act Concerning The Kirklyn M. Kerr Program At The University Of Connecticut.

To establish a grant program to offset the tuition paid by veterinary students and require such students to reside in the state for not fewer than five years after graduation.

An Act Concerning The Amortizable Bond Premium Subtraction For Purposes Of The Personal Income Tax.

To eliminate the requirement that the amortizable bond premium subtraction for purposes of calculating Connecticut adjustable gross income be attributable to a trade or business of the taxpayer.

An Act Concerning Expenditures Of The General Fund.

To review appropriations from the General Fund.

An Act Concerning A Study Of Microtransit.

To require the Commissioner of Transportation to conduct a study of microtransit.

An Act Concerning Long-term Care Insurance Premium Rates.

To (1) allow an income tax deduction for long-term care insurance premiums, (2) require the Insurance Department to hold a public hearing for long-term care premium rate increase requests that exceed ten per cent, and (3) require that policyholders are provided advance notice of such hearing.

An Act Promoting The Development Of Accessory Dwelling Units.

To (1) change statutory references to "accessory apartments" to "accessory dwelling units", (2) repeal a provision allowing municipalities to opt out of allowing accessory dwelling units on residential lots, (3) prohibit the enforcement of certain residential land use restrictions, and (4) require the Commissioner of Housing to establish a program concerning preapproved accessory dwelling units.

An Act Concerning Cost Of Living Adjustments To Long-term Care Facility Residents' Personal Needs Allowance.

To provide cost-of-living adjustments to long-term care facility residents' personal needs allowance.

An Act Establishing The Military Department Emergency Response Account.

To (1) establish the Military Department emergency response account, and (2) transfer moneys from the department's Military Relief Fund to said account.

An Act Concerning Fires And Explosions That Occur At Solar Photovoltaic Facilities.

To (1) require the local fire marshal to furnish certain reports to the Connecticut Siting Council for any fires or explosions that occur at a solar photovoltaic facility, (2) require said council to determine whether any solar photovoltaic facility equipment was a contributing factor to any such fires or explosions and, if so, to initiate an amendment proceeding to require the owner to adopt a solar photovoltaic facility fire mitigation plan, (3) require the council to determine if there are any similarly situated facilities, and (4) authorize the council to initiate amendment proceedings to require the owners of similarly situated facilities to adopt the same solar photovoltaic facility fire mitigation plan.

An Act Concerning Evidence Considered For The Issuance Of A Restraining Order Or Civil Protection Order.

To clarify that certain evidence may be considered by the court when determining whether to issue a restraining order or civil protection order.

An Act Concerning Adult Day Center Transportation.

To (1) increase the fee schedule effective July 1, 2026, for adult day care services by ten per cent over the fee schedule for adult day care services for the previous fiscal year for the purpose of providing increased funding for adult day care transportation, and (2) provide for annual cost of living increases to such fee schedule.

An Act Concerning Accelerated Rehabilitation In The Case Of Animal Cruelty.

To restrict the availability of accelerated rehabilitation for certain crimes involving animal cruelty.

An Act Requiring Data Transparency For Self-directed Home Care Programs.

To require the Department of Social Services to report additional data quarterly concerning self-directed home care programs.

An Act Concerning Expenditures Of Appropriated Funds Other Than The General Fund.

To review appropriations from funds other than the General Fund.

An Act Concerning The Mashantucket Pequot And Mohegan Fund.

To restore the Mashantucket Pequot and Mohegan Fund to its original intent of funding all towns.

An Act Concerning A Provider Toolkit For The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Menopause, Perimenopause And Postmenopause.
