AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 13; Title 62, Chapter 6 and Title 66, relative to contractors.

As introduced, requires the state board for licensing contractors to notify the department of commerce and insurance of a disciplinary action against a contractor upon posting the notice of disciplinary action on its website. - Amends TCA Title 13; Title 62, Chapter 6 and Title 66.

As introduced, enacts the "Tennessee Professionals' Freedom of Religion Act." - Amends TCA Title 4.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 36 and Title 37, relative to children.

As introduced, requires, in contested child custody, dependency and neglect, adoption, and guardianship proceedings in which the court has appointed a guardian ad litem, a court to order the child to be evaluated by a qualified expert unless the court determines an examination is unnecessary; requires the expert to submit a report containing certain information; specifies that the submitted report constitutes prima facie evidence of the child's condition and the factors relevant to the child's best interest; specifies various other requirements for the guardian ad litem's consideration of the report and the allocation of the examination costs. - Amends TCA Title 36 and Title 37.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 2, relative to elections.

As introduced, requires all ballots cast in an election to have a secure watermark; requires the official tabulation count of a ballot scanner to be based on the text or machine mark portion of a ballot; makes certain other changes related to ballots and elections; creates programs for the scanning and auditing of ballots. - Amends TCA Title 2.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 39 and Title 47, relative to consumer protection.

As introduced, increases, from 60 to 65 days, the time that a controller has after receipt of an appeal from a consumer regarding the controller's refusal to take action on a consumer request under the Tennessee Information Protection Act to inform the consumer in writing of action taken or not taken in response to the appeal, including a written explanation of the reasons for the decision. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 39 and Title 47.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 8 and Title 68, relative to high performance computing facilities.

As introduced, requires high performance computing (HPC) facility operators to devote 50 percent of the computing and data processing output of the facility for a public benefit; requires HPC facility operators to produce an annual report of the facility's energy consumption and carbon footprint; requires such operators to conduct an annual internal compliance audit and submit to an audit upon request by certain governmental entities. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 8 and Title 68.

A RESOLUTION to propose an amendment to Article XI of the Constitution of Tennessee, relative to the right to food.

Proposes adding a provision establishing the right to food that includes the right to save and exchange seeds and the right to grow, raise, harvest, produce, and acquire and consume the food of their own choosing for their own nourishment, sustenance, bodily health, and well-being.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 37, Chapter 1, Part 1, relative to court-appointed special advocates.

As introduced, requires the department of children's services, and others, to provide certain information to court-appointed special advocates in order to provide judicial officers with the most comprehensive information to be used in the consideration of the placement and custody of a child. - Amends TCA Title 37, Chapter 1, Part 1.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, relative to weapons.

As introduced, states that a person who has not been convicted of a violent, felony crime and who is lawfully able to own or to possess a firearm under the Constitution of Tennessee is considered to be individually licensed and verified by this state within the meaning of the provisions regarding individual licensure and verification in the federal Gun-Free School Zones Act. - Amends TCA Title 39.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 56 and Title 71, relative to insurance.

As introduced, decreases from 30 to 21 days, the amount of time each insurer of personal risk insurance must file with the commissioner of commerce and insurance before the proposed effective date of all rates, supplementary rate information, supporting information, policy forms, and endorsements. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 56 and Title 71.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 33; Title 37; Title 44; Title 47; Title 49; Title 53; Title 63 and Title 68, relative to health.

As introduced, enacts the "Tennessee mRNA Pharmaceutical Sovereignty and Safety Act," which prohibits individuals, including professional providers of health care and veterinary medicine, from administering any vaccine or other injectable solution that contains an mRNA vaccine or vaccine material. - Amends TCA Title 33; Title 37; Title 44; Title 47; Title 49; Title 53; Title 63 and Title 68.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 68, relative to healthcare facilities.

As introduced, requires the commissioner to use existing resources to conduct a study of the use of designated caregivers for admitted patients in hospitals in neighboring states in order to determine the prevalence of and identify the best practices for the use of designated caregivers; requires the commissioner to compile study findings and any legislative recommendations into a report to the general assembly no later than December 31, 2026. - Amends TCA Title 68.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 7 and Title 65, relative to threats to electrical assets.

As introduced, requires each public and private electric utility and electric project developer, owner, or operator to conduct a technical assessment of certain electrical transformers to determine vulnerability to geomagnetically induced current; requires such entities to file a report on the assessment with the general assembly, governor, board of utility regulation, and the public utilities commission. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 7 and Title 65.
