Tennessee SB2680 prohibits electric utilities and high performance computing facilities from using equipment sourced from foreign adversaries.

Tennessee SB2680 amends state law to prohibit electric utilities and high performance computing facilities from using equipment sourced from foreign adversaries. Electric utilities must annually report the source of their equipment and conduct internal audits. High performance computing facilities must also report and audit their equipment usage. Failure to comply results in civil penalties, loss of operating licenses, and public posting of noncompliance. The comptroller of the treasury must post annual reports and audit findings on their website.
