AN ACT relating to education; providing for pupils in elementary school to receive a certain amount of outdoor recess each school day, with certain exceptions; authorizing the approval of academic credit for outdoor recreational activities under certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to voter registration; requiring each county clerk to use, or contract with a person authorized by the United States Postal Service to use, the data compiled by the United States Postal Service concerning changes of address of its postal patrons to correct certain portions of the statewide voter registration list; requiring the county clerk to publish on the Internet website of the county clerk the number of persons removed from the statewide voter registration list using such data; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Authorizes the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County or any local government within Washoe County to establish a demonstration project for a certain toll road. (BDR 43-468)

AN ACT relating to transportation; prohibiting the Department of Motor Vehicles from renewing the registration of a motor vehicle under certain circumstances; exempting certain property rights relating to a demonstration project for a certain toll road from the imposition of property tax; authorizing the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County or any local government within Washoe County to establish a demonstration project for a certain toll road; authorizing the Commission or a local government within Washoe County to enter into public-private partnerships to plan, design, finance, construct, improve, maintain, operate or acquire rights-of-way for the demonstration project; authorizing the issuance of certain bonds or notes of the Commission or a local government within Washoe County to finance the project; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Proposing to amend the Nevada Constitution to prohibit appropriations to any political organization, to prohibit including an appropriation to a nonprofit organization in any bill that is required to fund a portion of the state budget for the next ensuing biennium and to authorize the Governor to veto appropriations in a bill.

AN ACT relating to criminal justice; clarifying provisions concerning certain civil liabilities that arise upon the discharge of a person from probation; authorizing a court to grant a general discharge from probation under certain circumstances; clarifying provisions relating to the enforcement of a judgment which imposes certain monetary penalties or requires a defendant to pay restitution; providing that the rebuttable presumption that records of criminal history should be sealed applies at the discretion of the court to a defendant who is given a general discharge from probation; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to interscholastic activities; requiring the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association to adopt regulations setting forth the process by which a pupil who transfers schools may appeal a determination of eligibility to participate in any sanctioned sport or other interscholastic activity or event at the school under certain circumstances; requiring that any regulations adopted by the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association relating to the eligibility to participate in any sanctioned sport or other interscholastic activity or event at the school to which the pupil transfers authorize a pupil to demonstrate a hardship by providing certain evidence; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Establishes a workshop to promote mental health for pupils. (BDR 34-734)
