As introduced, redefines a licensed professional counselor as a limited practice professional counselor; redefines a licensed professional counselor with a designation as a mental health service provider as a licensed professional counselor; terminates the issuance of limited practice professional counselor licenses on July 1, 2028. - Amends TCA Title 8; Title 33; Title 36; Title 49; Title 52; Title 56; Title 63 and Title 68.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 8 and Title 38, relative to sexual assault response teams.

As introduced, establishes a sexual assault response team coordinator for the purpose of providing statewide training, support, and technical assistance to and oversight of sexual assault response teams. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 8 and Title 38.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 6, Part 3, relative to exemptions from sales and use tax.

As introduced, exempts from sales tax, the first $20 of the sales price on a sale of tangible personal property paid for with physical cash declared legal tender, including gold and silver. - Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 6, Part 3.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39; Title 40 and Title 55, Chapter 10, relative to driving under the influence.

As introduced, adds a 30-day mandatory minimum period of incarceration for persons convicted of driving under the influence if, at the time of the offense, the person was within a marked school zone and a warning flasher or flashers were in operation. - Amends TCA Title 39; Title 40 and Title 55, Chapter 10.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, relative to trespassing.

As introduced, requires a posted sign or notice intended to warn violators that trespassers by motor vehicle will be prosecuted to clearly define the area in which driving, parking, standing, or otherwise operating a motor vehicle is prohibited. - Amends TCA Title 39.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, relative to unmanned aircraft.

As introduced, increases the penalty for knowingly using an unmanned aircraft over any portion of a property that includes a correctional facility from a Class C misdemeanor to a Class C felony; authorizes a correctional facility employee to disable an unmanned aircraft that is operating over property that includes a correctional facility and states that the correctional facility and the correctional facility employee are not liable for damage to the unmanned aircraft as a result of being disabled. - Amends TCA Title 39.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 6, Part 3, relative to exemption from sales and use tax on aircraft repair services and parts.

As introduced, expands sales tax exemptions on repair and refurbishment of aircraft and aircraft components, including equipment and parts used, performed by Tennessee-based aircraft repair companies from only large or transport category aircraft to include all aircraft, including helicopters, that will be removed outside the state following repair. - Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 6, Part 3.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 3, Part 14, relative to federal workforce Pell grants.

As introduced, requires the governor to approve all eligible workforce training programs for the purposes of federal workforce Pell grants and coordinate approval of eligible workforce training programs with other state and federal workforce programs to avoid duplicative payments for the same student costs that are covered by federal workforce Pell grants. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 3, Part 14.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 36 and Title 39, relative to lifetime orders of protection.

As introduced, increases from a Class A misdemeanor to a Class E felony the penalty for the criminal offense of violation of an order of protection if the order violated was a lifetime order of protection and the conviction that the lifetime order of protection was based on involved the use of force against a victim. - Amends TCA Title 36 and Title 39.

As introduced, increases, from 30 to 45, the number of days a sheriff has to provide the department of safety with any information that is within the knowledge of the sheriff concerning an applicant's truthfulness on an application for an enhanced handgun carry permit. - Amends TCA Title 38; Title 39 and Title 40.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 5, Part 7, relative to property tax relief for veterans.

As introduced, changes the reimbursement amount for property tax relief for disabled veteran homeowners; increases the reimbursement amount from payment on the first $175,000 of the full market value of the home to payment on the first $200,000 of the full market value. - Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 5, Part 7.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 4, Part 10, relative to the distribution of revenue from the tax on vapor products.

As introduced, allocates 30 percent of the revenue from taxes on vapor products to counties in equal amounts to be used for youth nicotine prevention programs and services. - Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 4, Part 10.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 68, Chapter 121, relative to private elevators.

As introduced, requires a private residence elevator that is newly constructed and accepted on and after July 1, 2027, to register with the department of labor and workforce development within seven days of being placed into service; makes certain other changes relative to private residence elevators. - Amends TCA Title 68, Chapter 121.
