Amends Tennessee Code to redefine professional counseling roles and licensing requirements.

This bill amends various sections of Tennessee Code to redefine the roles and licensing requirements for professional counselors. It introduces the concept of a "limited practice professional counselor," who is trained in counseling and guidance services but does not have the ability to diagnose or treat mental disorders. The bill also specifies that new licenses for limited practice professional counselors will not be issued after July 1, 2028.
