AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 37, relative to children.

As enacted, expands the goals of zero to three court programs to include cases involving children five years of age or younger, with priority given to cases involving children younger than three years of age. - Amends TCA Title 37.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 7 of the Public Acts of the First Extraordinary Session of 2025, relative to the Education Freedom Act of 2025.

As enacted, allows a local board of education or public charter school governing body that has not received funding from the department for purposes of awarding its teachers the bonus authorized in the Education Freedom Act of 2025 to pass the required resolution and notify the department of the same within 21 calendar days from the date the Act becomes a law, to receive funding from the department to award bonuses to teachers employed in the 2024-2025 school year. - Amends Chapter 7 of the Public Acts of the First Extraordinary Session of 2025.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 47; Title 55, Chapter 31 and Title 66, Chapter 19, relative to motor vehicles.

As enacted, authorizes enforcement of a garagekeeper's lien on a motor vehicle that was stored for the purpose of repairs without express written authorization from the owner for such storage if the garagekeeper makes a good faith attempt to acquire consent prior to repairs and provides notice to the owner by certified mail. - Amends TCA Title 47; Title 55, Chapter 31 and Title 66, Chapter 19.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 55, Chapter 8, relative to electric bicycles.

As enacted, makes changes to the regulation and prohibition authorized by local governments and state agencies relative to class 1, 2, and 3 electric bicycles in certain locations. - Amends TCA Title 55, Chapter 8.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 7, Chapter 82, Part 3, relative to utilities.

As enacted, clarifies that commissioners for utility districts created pursuant to the Utility District Law of 1937 in Gibson County are not prohibited from serving more than two consecutive terms. - Amends TCA Title 7, Chapter 82, Part 3.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 70, Chapter 1, Part 2, relative to the Tennessee fish and wildlife commission.

As enacted, extends the Tennessee fish and wildlife commission to June 30, 2030. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 70, Chapter 1, Part 2.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 32; Title 35 and Title 67, relative to trust and estate law.

As enacted, makes various changes regarding trusts and wills, including permitting confidential information related to trusts that is contained in court filings, including court orders, to be redacted or filed under seal without a prior court order. - Amends TCA Title 32; Title 35 and Title 67.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 3, Part 54, relative to the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame Act of 2019.

As enacted, makes changes relative to the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, including reducing membership on the executive committee from seven to six members; adding to board responsibilities by requiring it to direct the mission of the hall of fame; and making other related changes. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 3, Part 54.

As enacted, authorizes the Tennessee corrections institute to establish certification requirements for corrections officers and to inspect and certify local correctional training academies; makes various changes regarding plans of action that may be submitted by a local certified facility following annual inspection; allows the director and full-time employees of the Tennessee corrections institute to carry a handgun under certain circumstances. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 38; Title 39 and Title 41.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 55-8-185, relative to utility terrain vehicles.

As enacted, exempts utility terrain vehicles being operated for agricultural purposes from the restriction that such vehicles are authorized to operate only on certain state highways and county roads with a speed limit of 45 miles per hour or less. - Amends TCA Section 55-8-185.

As introduced, requires all public institutions of higher education in this state to observe an academic holiday on each general election day. - Amends TCA Title 2; Title 49, Chapter 11; Title 49, Chapter 7; Title 49, Chapter 8 and Title 49, Chapter 9.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 5, relative to property taxes.

As introduced, adds an exception to the requirement that mineral and other interests in real property are assessed to the owner of the real property. - Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 5.

A RESOLUTION to affirm Tennessee's commitment to fairness, safety, and equal opportunity in women's sports and to urge federal action to preserve the original intent of Title IX.

Urges Congress to enact legislation reaffirming and preserving the equal opportunities in athletics guaranteed to women and girls by Title IX and recognizing that allowing males to compete in women's athletics violates the purpose and meaning of Title IX.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 33; Title 56; Title 63; Title 68 and Title 71, relative to insurance.

As introduced, authorizes the comptroller of the treasury to submit the annual actuarial study of the TennCare program and participating managed care organizations, along with any related oral and written comments, to the designated legislative committees and offices in an electronic format. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 33; Title 56; Title 63; Title 68 and Title 71.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 38 and Title 39, relative to enhanced handgun carry permits.

As introduced, extends the fee waiver for a lifetime enhanced handgun carry permit to include a retired law enforcement officer who served for less than 10 years prior to retirement, was POST-certified, or had equivalent training, on the date the officer retired, and retired from service due to an injury received in the line of duty as a law enforcement officer. - Amends TCA Title 38 and Title 39.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49, Chapter 6, relative to school nutrition.

As enacted, prohibits LEAs and public charter schools from selling, offering for sale, or providing to students on school property through a school nutrition program any food or beverage item that contains Allura Red AC; Erythrosine B; Tartrazine; Sunset Yellow FCF; Erioglaucine disodium salt; Indigo carmine; or Fast Green FCF. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 6.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 6, relative to sales and use taxes.

As introduced, authorizes the commissioner of revenue to issue a certificate of exemption to a taxpayer who qualifies for the sales and use tax exemption on qualified building materials used in the construction, expansion, or renovation of one or more qualified, new, or expanded warehouse or distribution facilities in paper or electronic medium. - Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 6.
