FOOD AND DRUGS -- PRESCRIPTION DRUG COST PROTECTION - Prohibits the state, participating ERISA, or any health plan from purchasing referenced drugs for a cost higher than the referenced rate.

INSURANCE -- LIABILITY INSURANCE - Requires that insurance policies for property damage, personal injuries, and indemnification other than payment of compensation for workers compensation, state policy limits and no amount of the policy may be used to pay costs to defend a claim.

HIGHWAYS -- CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF STATE ROADS - Provides that roads located within the Quonset Business Park be under the control of the Quonset Development Corporation.

INSURANCE -- PEER-TO-PEER CAR SHARING PROGRAM ACT - Created a peer-to-peer car sharing program, which will prescribe insurance coverage and other related details while using a car sharing application.

TOWNS AND CITIES -- LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOUSING - Eliminates mandated housing densities/density bonuses for public drinking water supply watersheds/groundwater. Requires densities not exceed water availability, introduce pollution, stay within public water or sewer system capacity limits.

PROPERTY -- CONDOMINIUM LAW - Requires condominium associations to conduct structural surveys and reserve studies, fund reserves at 15%, and plan for repairs.

PUBLIC UTILITIES AND CARRIERS -- MUNICIPAL STREETLIGHT INVESTMENT ACT - Permits the Quonset Development Corporation to acquire, own, maintain, and control all streetlights located within the Quonset Business Park.

MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES -- REGULATION OF BUSINESS PRACTICES AMONG MOTOR VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS, DISTRIBUTORS, AND DEALERS - Extends certain protocols applicable to vehicle manufacturers to their distributors and factory branches, updates definitions relative to common entities and sales.

PROPERTY -- HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION LAW - Creates the homeowners association law to provide operational procedures for residential communities subject to the management of a homeowner association.

PROPERTY -- CONDOMINIUM LAW - Defines a special assessment as an assessment that is not a part of the condominium association budget and would apply to condominiums created before July 1, 1982, but only apply with respect to events and circumstances occurring after that date.

PROPERTY -- CONDOMINIUM LAW - Requires condominium associations to charge a reduced fee to update a condominium resale certificate after issuance of the initial certificate.

PROPERTY -- CONDOMINIUM OWNERSHIP - Clarifies how condominium insurance deductibles and unpaid losses are divided between associations and unit owners, require owners to insure units if associations do not, and allow boards to manage and use insurance proceeds for repairs.

PROBATE PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE -- UNIFORM REAL PROPERTY TRANSFER ON DEATH ACT - Allows an owner or owners of real property to execute a deed that names one or more beneficiaries who will obtain title to the property at the owner's death without the necessity of probate.

TAXATION -- REAL ESTATE CONVEYANCE TAX - Allows a municipality to set its own conveyance tax rate for residential properties sold in excess of $900,000.00 at $10 per $500. Provides collected taxes to be in a restricted account and distributed within 2 years for affordable housing.

MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES -- SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF LICENSES -- VIOLATIONS - Updates, streamlines the law regarding loss or suspension of license by the DMV, and eliminates the provisions that the division may suspend a license for reckless or negligent operation of a motor vehicle or for frequency of offense.

COURTS AND CIVIL PROCEDURE -- PROCEDURE GENERALLY -- CAUSES OF ACTION - Tolls the statute of limitations for causes of action arising out of business activities conducted in this state by a person or entity required to register with the secretary of state but failing to do so, until such person or entity becomes registered.

PROPERTY -- CONDOMINIUM LAW - Amends various sections of the condominium law to enhance transparency.

HEALTH AND SAFETY -- STATE BUILDING CODE - Allows for building inspectors to conduct “virtual inspections” or utilize photographic evidence, at the building official’s discretion, from time to time during and upon completion of the work for which the building official has issued a permit.

FOOD AND DRUGS -- WHOLESALE PRESCRIPTION DRUG IMPORTATION PROGRAM - Establishes the Wholesale Prescription Drug Importation Program for the importation of wholesale prescription drugs from Canada, to provide savings to Rhode Island consumers.

MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES -- SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF LICENSES -- VIOLATIONS - Repeals the section of law relating to suspension of operator licenses for failure to pay fines.

COURTS AND CIVIL PROCEDURE -- PROCEDURE GENERALLY -- CAUSES OF ACTION - Provides a civil cause of action for individuals injured by artificial intelligence.

INSURANCE -- LIABILITY INSURANCE - Provides for mandatory uninsured motorist coverage.
