PUBLIC FINANCE -- RHODE ISLAND SECURE CHOICE RETIREMENT SAVINGS PROGRAM ACT - Makes several technical amendments to the Rhode Island secure choice retirement savings program act necessary for continued administration and inter-state partnership.

INSURANCE -- WEATHER-RELATED LOSSES - Provides a framework through which the department of business regulation can seek grants to fund a home hardening program.

COURTS AND CIVIL PROCEDURE -- COURTS -- SUPERIOR COURT - Establishes a separate domestic violence calendar within the superior court to handle felony domestic violence cases.

PUBLIC OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES -- RHODE ISLAND PUBLIC EMPLOYEE PENSION REVOCATION AND REDUCTION ACT - Authorizes the state retirement board to revoke or reduce an individual’s pension benefit if that individual is convicted or pleads guilty or no contest to a felony sex crime related to their public office or public employment.

COURTS AND CIVIL PROCEDURE -- COURTS -- SUPERIOR COURT - Establishes a separate domestic violence calendar within the superior court to handle felony domestic violence cases.

Authorizes the city of Pawtucket to issue not more than $5,000,000 general obligation bonds and notes to finance the construction, renovation, improvement, repair, alteration, furnishing and equipping of public buildings.

CRIMINAL PROCEDURE -- CRIMINAL INJURIES COMPENSATION - Permits victims of stalking to recover for expenses related to relocation or home modification under the crime victim compensation program.

BUSINESSES AND PROFESSIONS -- VETERINARY PRACTICE - Authorizes veterinarians to establish a client-patient relationship through electronic means, subject to limitations and requirements such as Vet making a good faith effort to determine if care should be provided through telemedicine instead of in person.

MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES -- REGISTRATION OF VEHICLES - Creates special motor vehicle registration plates for vehicles based on the not-for-profit entity Rhode Island Fire Chiefs Honor Flight Hub.

UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE -- SECURED TRANSACTIONS - Makes a series of amendments and adds new provisions of law to address business identity theft and deceptive solicitations sent to businesses and the unauthorized formation of entities.

TOWNS AND CITIES -- ZONING ORDINANCES - Amends the standards and limitations on permitted parking requirements for dwelling units.

HEALTH AND SAFETY -- STATE BUILDING CODE -- ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT - Authorizes municipalities to make an emergency declaration under limited circumstances to allow for the construction and use of SAFE Units on a temporary basis which have specialized requirements and exemptions from the state fire and building codes.

COURTS AND CIVIL PROCEDURE -- COURTS -- SUPERIOR COURT - Provides technical amendments relating to comprehensive planning and land use, subdivision of land, zoning ordinances and low- and moderate-income housing.

PUBLIC PROPERTY AND WORKS -- MANAGEMENT AND DISPOSAL OF PROPERTY - Authorizes the department of environmental management to enter into leases of up to forty (40) years at State Pier #9 in Newport, Chase Marina in Tiverton, and all other ports and marine facilities owned and operated by the department.

Authorizes the city of Pawtucket to issue not more than $3,000,000 general obligation bonds and notes to finance the repaving of streets in the city.

Authorizes the city of Pawtucket to issue not more than $2,000,000 general obligation bonds and notes to finance the design, construction, reconstruction, repair and equipping of streets and sidewalks.

CORPORATIONS, ASSOCIATIONS AND PARTNERSHIPS -- UNIFORM PARTNERSHIP ACT -- THE RHODE ISLAND LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY ACT - Replaces the existing limited liability company act with a newer and updated model act.

CRIMINAL OFFENSES -- IMPERSONATION AND IDENTITY FRAUD - Protects individuals and businesses from those who knowingly impersonate an entity with the intent of facilitating fraud. This act would also protect individuals and businesses from digital forgery.

Authorizes the city of Pawtucket to issue not more than $3,000,000 general obligation bonds and notes to finance the repaving of streets in the city.

THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY -- PERMANENT JOINT COMMITTEE ON NAMING ALL NEW BUILDINGS, BRIDGES, EDIFICES AND OTHER STATE CONSTRUCTIONS - Makes the bridge over Smith Street and Route 95, the George Nee Bridge.

STATE AFFAIRS AND GOVERNMENT -- ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES - Amends the refiling process for rules and regulations under the administrative procedures act by implementing a confirmation and attestation system to confirm agency rules and regulations are active and effective.

SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES - Allows Joseph Couto to join Brandon Kemmy and Jacqueline Manousos in Marriage on or about August 2, 2026, within the Town of Tiverton, Rhode Island.
