This bill authorizes the city of Pawtucket to issue bonds and notes up to $4,000,000 for the planning, evaluation, design, construction, equipping, and reconstruction of sanitary and storm sewers. The proceeds will fund the capital improvement program for fiscal years 2028 and 2029. The city treasurer and mayor are authorized to execute necessary documents and take actions to carry out the intent of the act. The bonds and notes are exempt from certain city charter provisions and are considered a single project under the city charter.
