This bill creates special motor vehicle registration plates for the not-for-profit entity Rhode Island Fire Chiefs Honor Flight Hub. The plates will reference the organization and be subject to a $40 issuance surcharge, with $20 going to the general fund and $20 to the Rhode Island Fire Chiefs Honor Flight Hub. An additional $10 surcharge will apply for subsequent renewals, also benefiting the Hub. The Hub must use Rhode Island sourced funds for Rhode Island-based charitable organizations and submit an annual accounting report.
