ELECTIONS -- PRIMARIES FOR ELECTION OF DELEGATES TO NATIONAL CONVENTIONS AND FOR PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE - Amends certain signature requirements and deadlines regarding primaries for election of delegates to national conventions for presidential preference.

TOWNS AND CITIES -- LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOUSING - Amends the current law on low-income housing to include moderate-income housing and eliminates the income percentages used to determine qualifications for low or moderate income housing.

LABOR AND LABOR RELATIONS -- RESTRICTIONS ON SELF-SERVICE CHECKOUT STATIONS ACT - Places limits on the number of self-service checkout stations a grocery store can have and on the workload of employees assigned to monitor those checkout stations.

EDUCATION -- HEALTH AND SAFETY OF PUPILS - Requires the department of elementary and secondary education and DOH to adopt policies, rules and regulations for the administration of seizure rescue medications for children who have been medically identified as having epilepsy/seizure disorder.

EDUCATION -- FOUNDATION LEVEL SCHOOL SUPPORT - Prohibits participation in federal school voucher tax credit for contributions to scholarship-granting organizations unless both the general assembly and the governor approve such participation.

EDUCATION -- ESTABLISHMENT OF CHARTER PUBLIC SCHOOLS - Bars the council from granting approval to create or expand a charter school beginning operations in 26-27 school year and bars the state from approving or appropriating funds to a new charter school not approved before July 1, 2025.

PROPERTY -- ABANDONED PROPERTY - Amends several definitions to the general law chapter relating to abandoned property, adds a definition for "eligible nonprofit corporation", provides criteria for when properties are considered abandoned or a public nuisance.

BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE, DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND HOSPITALS -- QUALITY SELF-DIRECTED SUPPORTS ACT OF 2026 - Ensures that more developmentally disabled adults can self-direct the care they need and want, by incorporating collective bargaining rights into the self-directed supports program.

ELECTIONS -- RHODE ISLAND CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS AND EXPENDITURES REPORTING - Authorizes the use of campaign funds for security related expenses, including home and office security systems and ongoing monitoring, in response to threats arising from their public service or candidacy.

LABOR AND LABOR RELATIONS -- WAREHOUSE WORKER PROTECTION ACT - Requires employers to provide each employee of a warehouse distribution center, upon hire, with written description of quotas applicable to the employee within defined time periods and adverse employment action for failure to meet the quota.

CRIMINAL PROCEDURE -- CRIMINAL INJURIES COMPENSATION - Permits hit and run victims suffering serious bodily injury to recover under the crime victim compensation program.

MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES -- ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION AND TITLING - Permits the implementation of a system of electronic registration and titling of motor vehicles, by the DMV and would require that rules and regulations to implement the provisions of this chapter, would be promulgated by the administrator of the DMV.

CRIMINAL OFFENSES -- DISARMING A PEACE OFFICER - Makes it a felony for any person to remove or attempt to remove any firearm or other weapon or any communication device from any peace officer or investigator of the department of attorney general.

MOTOR AND OTHER VEHICLES -- ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION AND TITLING - Permits the implementation of a system of electronic registration and titling of motor vehicles, by the DMV and requires that rules and regulations to implement the provisions of this chapter, be promulgated by the administrator of the DMV.

BUSINESSES AND PROFESSIONS -- REAL ESTATE SALES DISCLOSURES - Provides protocols for radon inspection relative to real estate transactions and provides time frames and conditions for testing and mitigation.

SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES - Allows Paul J. Rao to join Spencer Rao and Michaela Smith in Marriage on or about June 20, 2026, within the Town of Foster, Rhode Island.

COURTS AND CIVIL PROCEDURE -- COURTS -- DISTRICT COURT - Moves North Kingstown from the third division of the district court to the fourth division to better balance case workloads among the divisions.

Authorizes the City of Central Falls to issue bonds and notes in an amount not exceeding $25,000,000 to finance the construction, renovation, improvement, alteration, repair furnishing and equipping of schools and school facilities in the city.
