To amend sections 109.79, 955.54, 955.99, 959.131, 959.99, 2921.321, and 2929.18 and to enact sections 955.55, 955.56, and 955.57 of the Revised Code to prohibit the abuse of a companion animal corpse, to prohibit an animal abuse offender from owning a companion animal in certain circumstances, and to establish mandatory fines for violations of an animal abuse offense.

Enact the Future Educators Support Act

To enact sections 3319.70, 3345.84, and 6301.113 of the Revised Code to enact the Future Educators Support Act regarding financial support for student teachers and in-demand teaching jobs.

To amend sections 2151.23, 2151.233, 2151.352, 3101.01, 3101.05, and 3109.011 and to repeal sections 3101.02, 3101.04, 3101.041, and 3101.042 of the Revised Code to repeal law that authorizes a person who is seventeen years of age to marry.

Prohibit PFAS chemicals, lead in playground surfacing materials

To enact sections 3745.75, 3745.751, 3745.752, 3745.753, 3745.754, 3745.755, 3745.756, and 3745.757 of the Revised Code to prohibit the use of PFAS chemicals and lead in playground surfacing materials.

Prohibit certain public nuisance actions

To amend sections 715.44, 2307.71, and 2307.72 and to enact section 2307.801 of the Revised Code to prohibit public nuisance actions concerning product liability.

To amend sections 2901.30, 2901.41, and 2901.42 and to enact section 109.5731 of the Revised Code to enact Andy Chapman's Act to require law enforcement agencies to enter information relating to a report of a missing person in the national missing and unidentified persons system (NamUs).

Create the Ohio Sports Commission
