SB101

Regards recording of certain real property documents

Complete·6/16/26

Ohio SB101 amends real property recording requirements for certain instruments.

Ohio SB101 amends sections of the Ohio Revised Code to require county recorders to record certain real property instruments. Specifically, it mandates that liens filed with the county recorder include the last known address of the obligor. It also requires that certain real property conveyances by a trustee include a memorandum of trust instrument describing the real property. Failure to comply with these requirements does not affect the validity of the conveyance. The bill repeals certain existing sections related to these recording requirements.
