AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 49 and Title 67, Chapter 6, relative to feminine hygiene products.

As introduced, exempts the sale or use of feminine hygiene products from sales and use tax; directs the department of education to ensure feminine hygiene products are placed into and made available to students for free in a public school upon the request of a public school administrator, board, or director of schools. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 49 and Title 67, Chapter 6.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 9 and Title 67, relative to funding for rural counties.

As introduced, enacts the "Greenbelt Initiative Fund Transfer (GIFT) Act," which creates the rural revenue equity fund; authorizes the commissioner of economic and community development to distribute amounts from the fund to rural counties based on certain agricultural, demographic, and fiscal criteria, including greenbelt acreage. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 5; Title 6; Title 7; Title 9 and Title 67.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 5, Part 7, relative to property tax relief.

As introduced, revises the formula for calculating tax relief on real property owned by eligible disabled veterans so that in determining the amount of relief to such a taxpayer, the assessed value on the first $175,000 of full market value is to be multiplied by the ad valorem tax rate of the jurisdiction instead of by a rate that has been adjusted to reflect the relationship between appraised value and market value in that jurisdiction. - Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 5, Part 7.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 38; Title 39 and Title 40, relative to criminal justice.

As introduced, increases, from 30 to 45, the number of days a sheriff has to provide the department of safety with any information that is within the knowledge of the sheriff concerning an applicant's truthfulness on an application for an enhanced handgun carry permit. - Amends TCA Title 38; Title 39 and Title 40.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 8-50-119 and Title 68, Chapter 102, relative to public safety employees.

As introduced, increases the penalty for knowingly using an unmanned aircraft over any portion of a property that includes a correctional facility from a Class C misdemeanor to a Class C felony; authorizes a correctional facility employee to disable an unmanned aircraft that is operating over property that includes a correctional facility and states that the correctional facility and the correctional facility employee are not liable for damage to the unmanned aircraft as a result of being disabled. - Amends TCA Title 39.

As introduced, directs the department to create an outreach campaign regarding the ongoing research of Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease; terminates the outreach campaign on July 1, 2027. - Amends TCA Title 68.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 6, relative to qualified data centers.

As introduced, authorizes a qualified data center that applies for job tax credits to certify electronically that it has not, within the previous 12 months, been found to be in violation of the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, or federal immigration laws. - Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 6.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49, Chapter 4, relative to financial aid.

As introduced, adds William R. Moore College of Technology as an eligible institution for receipt of the Wilder-Naifeh reconnect grant and Wilder-Naifeh technical skills grant; specifies that the amount of the scholarship for such students enrolled is the average cost of tuition and mandatory fees at TCATs less all other gift aid. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 4.
