AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 7, Chapter 82, Part 7 and Title 65, Chapter 4, Part 1, relative to utilities.

As introduced, allows the Tellico Village Property Owners Association's water and wastewater utility services to be placed under the jurisdiction of the Tennessee board of utility regulation. - Amends TCA Title 7, Chapter 82, Part 7 and Title 65, Chapter 4, Part 1.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 68, Chapter 221 and Title 69, relative to drinking water.

As introduced, prohibits the department of environment and conservation from prohibiting a utility that provides drinking water from pumping or otherwise withdrawing water from natural waters for purposes of providing drinking water, including as a prerequisite to renewal of the utility's permit, unless the prohibition is required to comply with federal law. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 68, Chapter 221 and Title 69.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 33; Title 38; Title 52 and Title 55, relative to the department of safety.

As introduced, directs the department to develop and design for a driver who has a developmental or intellectual disability a blue envelope and a driver who has a mental illness a green envelope that holds the driver's essential documents, including a driver license, vehicle registration, and contact card. - Amends TCA Title 33; Title 38; Title 52 and Title 55.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 9 and Title 47, relative to consumer protection.

As introduced, increases, from 30 to 45 days, the amount of time a person who purchases, subscribes to, or receives products, services, or membership in an organization by negotiating an unsolicited negotiable instrument has from the date of the first statement or bill for the purchase, subscription, service, product, or membership to cancel the services, subscription, or membership, or return the product. - Amends TCA Title 9 and Title 47.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49, Chapter 5, relative to educator licensure.

As introduced, creates a pathway for a person to obtain an alternative instructional leader license for purposes of serving as a principal, an assistant principal, or an instructional supervisor. - Amends TCA Title 49, Chapter 5.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 2; Title 8, Chapter 47 and Title 49, Chapter 2, relative to recall of locally elected officials.

As introduced, extends from 90 to 120 days, the amount of time any confiscated or seized property that was used in the offense of engaging in camping on public property must be held by the agency or its agent in a secure location before the property is either claimed or disposed of, unless the property is needed for evidence in a criminal proceeding. - Amends TCA Title 13; Title 16; Title 33; Title 39 and Title 40.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 13, relative to firearms.

As introduced, prohibits the possession, manufacture, transport, repair, or sale of a switch or auto sear device designed, made, or adapted for the purpose of converting a weapon to shoot automatically more than one shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger unless certain exceptions apply. - Amends TCA Title 39, Chapter 17, Part 13.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 8; Title 9; Title 13, Chapter 7; Title 29; Title 48; Title 53 and Title 67, relative to mutual aid organizations.

As introduced, enacts the "Volunteer Communities Act," which provides an unincorporated association or nonprofit corporation organized primarily to provide mutual support and assistance within a community or neighborhood certain benefits, including franchise and excise, sales, and property tax credits and exemptions, and certain liability, food, and zoning protections for mutual aid activities conducted by the organization. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 8; Title 9; Title 13, Chapter 7; Title 29; Title 48; Title 53 and Title 67.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 35; Title 37; Title 47 and Title 50, relative to minors.

As introduced, establishes when a minor is engaged in the work of content creation; creates protections and requirements related to a minor engaged in the work of content creation. - Amends TCA Title 35; Title 37; Title 47 and Title 50.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 40, relative to evidence.

As introduced, prohibits a court from excluding evidence against a criminal defendant unless the evidence was obtained by deliberate, reckless, or grossly negligent conduct or recurring or systemic negligence that violated the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution and refusal to suppress the evidence would contradict a clearly established holding of the United States supreme court; establishes an immediate interlocutory appeal to the Tennessee supreme court when a court grants a motion to suppress evidence. - Amends TCA Title 40.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4; Title 39 and Title 47, relative to consumer protection.

As introduced, increases, from 60 to 65 days, the time that a controller has after receipt of an appeal from a consumer regarding the controller's refusal to take action on a consumer request under the Tennessee Information Protection Act to inform the consumer in writing of action taken or not taken in response to the appeal, including a written explanation of the reasons for the decision. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 39 and Title 47.

A RESOLUTION relative to coverage of doula services and care under the TennCare program.

Urges TennCare to provide medical assistance coverage and reimbursement for services and care provided by doulas.
