AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 53, Chapter 7 and Chapter 380 of the Public Acts of 2023, relative to the inspection of food derived from animals.

As enacted, renames the "Tennessee Meat and Poultry Inspection Act" as the "Tennessee Meat Inspection Act"; revises the act to facilitate the implementation of a state meat inspection program. - Amends TCA Title 53, Chapter 7 and Chapter 380 of the Public Acts of 2023.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4 and Title 58, Chapter 2, relative to emergency powers of the governor.

As enacted, prohibits orders, proclamations, or rules issued by the governor under the governor's emergency management powers from contravening, suspending, or conflicting with a provision of the Tennessee Constitution; restricts governor's ability under such powers to suspend certain procedural provisions of a law, order, rule, or regulation. - Amends TCA Title 4 and Title 58, Chapter 2.

Subject to local approval, establishes that the terms of office for mayor and alderman begin upon the official's swearing in on the first business day of the month following the month of the election for that office; designates five aldermanic positions, and allows for a sixth position, contingent on certain population metrics; provides for additional conditions for elected office. - Amends Chapter 167 of the Private Acts of 1994; as amended.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 553 of the Acts of 1903; as amended by Chapter 311 of the Private Acts of 1974 and Chapter 233 of the Private Acts of 1978; and any other acts amendatory thereto, relative to the city judge of the City of Tullahoma.

Subject to local approval, extends the term of the current city judge by one year in order to have the election of the city judge coincide with the elections for members of the board of mayor and aldermen. - Amends Chapter 553 of the Acts of 1903; as amended.
