As introduced, requires, if the person or government agency assuming custody of a body for the purposes of burial does not request an autopsy, or that the body be embalmed, the person or agency to ensure that the body is buried within 48 hours from the time when the person or agency waives the ability to request an autopsy or embalming of the body. - Amends TCA Title 34, Chapter 6, Part 37; Title 38; Title 50; Title 56; Title 62, Chapter 5; Title 62, Chapter 6 and Title 68.

Directs feasibility study of implementing medical benefits overlay program to supplement State's current benefit plan offerings.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 37-5-132, relative to the department of children's services caseload management.

As introduced, changes the caseload requirement for case managers in the department from a monthly average of 20 active cases or 20 children monitored to a cap of no more than 12 active cases involving no more than 12 families or 20 children monitored; requires the department to resolve each active case within 12 months and a status review hearing to be held if the case is not resolved within 12 months. - Amends TCA Section 37-5-132.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 3; Title 54 and Title 68, Chapter 120, relative to family restrooms in safety rest areas.

As introduced, requires each safety rest area that provides restrooms for the public to provide access to at least one family restroom. - Amends TCA Title 4, Chapter 3; Title 54 and Title 68, Chapter 120.

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49; Title 62 and Title 63, relative to testing requirements.

As introduced, requires the state board of examiners for architects and engineers to publish the time and place at which examinations to receive an engineer intern certificate or to register as a professional engineer are held and the acceptable grade necessary for passage of the examinations on the board's website. - Amends TCA Title 49; Title 62 and Title 63.
