Revises provisions relating to the Education Stabilization Account. (BDR 34-461)

AN ACT relating to education; requiring money in the Education Stabilization Account that exceeds a certain percentage of appropriations and authorizations from the State Education Fund to be used to make allocations to school districts for the retention, recruitment and training of educational personnel; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Designates the month of July as Muslim American Heritage Month. (BDR 19-924)

AN ACT relating to periods of observance; designating the month of July of each year as Muslim American Heritage Month in this State; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Prescribes certain rights for agricultural workers. (BDR 53-959)

AN ACT relating to employment; enacting the Agricultural Workers' Bill of Rights; clarifying provisions relating to the provision of periods for rest and meals; establishing certain rights of agricultural workers related to housing and access to certain service providers; prohibiting certain actions related to weeding and thinning; requiring the provision of certain protections to agricultural workers during certain emergencies and disasters; authorizing collective bargaining for agricultural workers; authorizing the commencement of a civil action in certain circumstances; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to taxation; providing for the imposition, administration, collection and enforcement of a tax on certain digital products electronically transferred to a purchaser; prohibiting the issuance and use of certain transferable tax credits if money is transferred or allocated from the Account to Stabilize the Operation of the State Government; stating the intent of the Legislature to review the transferable tax credits which the State is authorized to issue under certain circumstance; providing penalties; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to the Legislature; reducing, with certain exceptions, the number of legislative measures that are authorized to be requested or required to be prefiled for a regular legislative session; codifying into statute, with certain exceptions, certain provisions of the Joint Standing Rules of the Senate and Assembly that authorize requests for legislative measures; eliminating the authority of a caucus leader to allocate the legislative measures requested by a Legislator whose office becomes vacant during a certain period; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Makes appropriations to certain universities for scholarships for students studying social work. (BDR S-352)

AN ACT relating to education; requiring certain standards of content and performance for courses in health to correspond with certain social and emotional learning standards developed by the Department of Education and to include certain information relating to mental health; requiring certain teachers to complete a course in mental health education; requiring the Department to adopt regulations concerning a course in mental health education; requiring school districts and charter schools to partner with certain entities to provide professional development training in mental health education; requiring certain professional development training for teachers and administrators to include training on mental health education and social and emotional learning; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Revises provisions relating to motor vehicle fuel. (BDR 51-271)

AN ACT relating to motor vehicle fuel; establishing certain requirements for the display and labeling of pumps and dispensers for motor vehicle fuel at a motor vehicle fuel dispensing site; requiring certain types of motor vehicle fuel to be identified and labeled in a certain manner; revising requirements relating to the advertisement of prices of motor vehicle fuel; revising certain requirements relating to the letters, words, figures and numerals used on an advertising medium for motor vehicle fuel; repealing requirements for certain letters and numerals used on advertising mediums; providing penalties; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Enacts the Nevada Film Infrastructure, Workforce Development, Education and Economic Diversification Act. (BDR S-18)

AN ACT relating to economic development; enacting the Nevada Film Infrastructure, Workforce Development, Education and Economic Diversification Act; requiring the Office of Economic Development to enter into a development agreement to establish certain criteria for the development of infrastructure for the production of motion pictures and other qualified productions; establishing requirements for a production company located at such a development to be eligible for film infrastructure transferable tax credits for qualified productions produced at the development; providing for the calculation of the amount of film infrastructure transferable tax credits; revising provisions governing noninfrastructure transferable tax credits for motion pictures and other qualified productions produced in this State; authorizing an additional amount of noninfrastructure transferable tax credits; establishing the Account for Nevada Film, Media and Related Technology Education and Vocational Training and a board to approve distributions from the Account; providing for the distribution of money in the Account; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Revises provisions relating to the support of children. (BDR 38-85)

AN ACT relating to the support of children; revising the duties of the Administrator of the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services of the Department of Health and Human Services; revising certain procedures and requirements relating to the collection of support of children; requiring the collecting and reporting of certain demographic information; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to economic development; requiring the State Treasurer to include in an existing tuition reimbursement program a program to provide reimbursement for certain fees related to the education of persons who are preparing for certain careers in health care; revising certain provisions governing that tuition reimbursement program; requiring the Governor's Office of Workforce Innovation within the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation to include health care in the Career Pathways Demonstration Program; requiring large school districts and authorizing other school districts to offer a Health Care Workforce Pathway Program; authorizing the Board of Regents of the University of Nevada to enter into certain agreements related to the Health Care Workforce Pathway Program; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

AN ACT relating to Medicaid; requiring Medicaid to provide certain limited coverage to certain persons who would otherwise be ineligible for Medicaid because of their immigration status; prescribing the scope and limitations of such coverage; requiring the Department of Health and Human Services to seek an increase to rates of reimbursement under Medicaid for services relating to certain childhood diseases; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Creates a program to award grants to address shortages of providers of health care. (BDR 40-1107)

AN ACT relating to health care; creating the Statewide Health Care Access and Recruitment Program Account; providing for certain transfers of money out of the Account; requiring a biennial assessment of the health care needs of this State; establishing the Statewide Health Care Access and Recruitment Grant Program to award grants of money to fund certain projects to address shortages of providers of health care or clinical services or expertise identified by the assessment; requiring a grantee to enter into a funding agreement with the Department of Health and Human Services; providing for certain oversight of projects funded through the Program; authorizing the Department to take certain actions in response to certain changes to a funded project or if a grantee fails to comply with a funding agreement or applicable law;making an appropriation; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Makes an appropriation to the State Department of Agriculture for universal free breakfast and lunch for Nevada pupils. (BDR S-340)

AN ACT making an appropriation to the State Department of Agriculture for the purpose of awarding grants of money to Nevada school districts to provide universal free breakfast and lunch for Nevada pupils; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.

Revises provisions relating to certain behavioral health services. (BDR 39-434)

AN ACT relating to behavioral health; requiring the certification of a natural person who holds himself or herself out as a certified prevention specialist; prohibiting a minor from providing or supervising the provision of peer recovery support services; authorizing the imposition of civil penalties for certain violations; prohibiting the employment or retention as an independent contractor of a natural person to serve as a certified prevention specialist in a position where the natural person has regular and substantial contact with minors if the natural person has been found to have engaged in certain conduct; requiring a certified prevention specialist to report certain information; requiring a substance use disorder prevention coalition to employ or enter into contracts with certified prevention specialists for certain purposes; and providing other matters properly relating thereto.
