An Act To Create The Mississippi One Door Website Act; To Require That The Department Of Information Technology Services Develop, Monitor And Update A Website For Mississippi State Agencies And State Services To Share, That Will Allow Consumers To Login And Access Any State Function That The User Needs To Access; To Require The Department To Develop A System That Allows State Agencies And Services To Share Data, While Maintaining Information Privacy And Security Standards; To Require The Department To Implement The Ability For State Agencies, State Services And Website Users To Review Previous Filings And Cross Reference State-provided Programs To See If The Consumer Qualifies As A Participant In Any Offered Programs Or For Assistance; To Provide The Department With The Authority To Promulgate Rules And Regulations In Order To Execute The Requirements Of The Mississippi One Door Website; To Provide That The One Door Website Shall Be Operable By January 1, 2028; To Amend Section 25-53-5, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Add Developing, Monitoring And Updating One Door Websites Required By This Act To The Powers And Responsibilities Of The Department Of Information Technology Services; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Be Known As The "voluntary Portable Benefit Plan Act"; To Define Certain Terms; To Authorize A Hiring Party To Voluntarily Contribute Funds To The Portable Benefit Account Owned By An Independent Contractor; To Authorize A Hiring Party To Withhold Funds From The Compensation Owed To An Independent Contractor For The Contribution To The Person's Portable Benefit Account; To Authorize A Deduction From A Hiring Party's Taxable Income For Contributions To A Portable Benefit Account; To Exclude Contributions To A Portable Benefit Account From The Determination Of An Independent Contractor's Taxable Income; To Amend Sections 27-7-17 And 27-7-15, Mississippi Code Of 1972, In Conformity To The Provisions Of This Act; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Require The State Board Of Education To Adopt Rules Requiring All School Boards To Evaluate Certain Cost And Performance Metrics When Acquiring Technology, Computer Hardware, And Software; To Require Each Governing Board Of A School District Or Charter School To Submit An Annual Report To The State Board Of Education Regarding The Operation, Repair Needs And Repair Or Replacement Costs Of School Technology Device Inventory; To Require The Board To Submit An Annual Report To The Legislature Summarizing The Reports Received From The School Districts, Which Shall Include Recommendations To Reduce Break/fix Rates; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Amend Section 43-13-121, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That If The Division Of Medicaid Has Incorrectly Made Payments To A Medicaid Provider That Are Not As A Result Of Fraud Or Abuse By The Provider And The Provider Is Unable To Immediately Repay All Of The Incorrect Payments, Or If Immediate Repayment Of The Incorrect Payments Would Constitute A Substantial Financial Hardship On The Provider, The Division Shall Allow The Provider To Repay The Incorrect Payments Under An Installment Repayment Plan, With Full Repayment Being Required Not More Than Twelve Months After Notification By The Division Or Such Longer Period Of Time As May Be Allowed Under Federal Law Or Regulation; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Create The Mississippi Future Innovators Act; To Create New Section 37-13-215, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That, Beginning With The Entering Ninth-grade Class Of 2029-2030, A Public High School Student Shall, Before Graduation, Be Required To Earn One Unit Of Credit In A High School Computer Science Course, Or One Unit Of Credit In An Industry-aligned Career And Technical Education (cte) With Embedded Computer Science Course; To Provide The State Graduation Requirements That May Be Satisfied By Either Of These Courses; To Require That Such Courses Include Instruction On The Fundamental Concepts Of Emerging Computer Science Technologies, Such As Artificial Intelligence; To Amend Section 37-13-205, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Define "career And Technical Education With Embedded Computer Science Course" For Purposes Of The Mississippi Computer Science And Cyber Education Equality Act; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Amend Section 25-11-127, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Change The Required Separation Period For Retirees Returning To Work From 90 Days To 30 Days; To Create An Alternative Return-to-work Provision For Retirees Who Are Not Subject To An Actuarial Reduction In Their Retirement Allowances, Except As A Result Of Taking A Partial Lump-sum Distribution Or Any Other Optional Benefit Under Section 25-11-115; To Allow A Retiree To Return To Work For A Period Of Time As Agreed To Between The Employee And The Employer, At Compensation In An Amount Not To Exceed 80% Of The Salary In Effect For The Position At The Time Of Employment; To Require The Execution Of A Written Agreement After The Conclusion Of The Separation Period Providing Certain Details Of The Employment; To Provide That The Employer Shall Pay To The Board Of Trustees Of The System The Full Amount Of Both The Employer's And The Employee's Contributions On The Amount Of Compensation Received By The Retiree Returning To Work; To Specify That The Employee Shall Not Gain Any Additional Rights Or Benefits Toward Retirement From Returning To Work Under This Alternative Return-to-work Provision; To Specify That Employer Contributions For Employees Returning To Work Are Designed To Offset Any Pension Liability Created By This Provision; To Prohibit Retirees From Returning To Work As Elected Officials, K-12 School Superintendents, Or Administrators At Universities Or Community Or Junior Colleges Under This Provision; To Provide For The Repeal Of This Provision On July 1, 2036; To Amend Section 25-11-126, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Conform To The Reduction In The Required Separation Period; And For Related Purposes.
