Mississippi HB710 mandates that the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks receive reimbursement from the General Fund for any lost revenue due to statutory discounts on hunting and fishing licenses, state park admissions, and other fees. The Department must maintain an accounting of such lost revenue and submit it to the Department of Finance and Administration by June each year. The accounting is subject to audit by the State Auditor. This act applies to discounts issued on or after July 1, 2026.
