The TRAVEL Act of 2025 amends title 38, United States Code, to allow the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to assign Department of Veterans Affairs physicians as traveling physicians for up to one year in U.S. territories and possessions. These physicians will provide health care to veterans in American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other territories. The bill also mandates coordination with non-Department medical providers to ensure high-quality care.
