Cut the funding behind ICE's lawless detention and enforcement abuses and restore the independent detention ombudsman meant to hold the agency accountable. No agency should run on a blank check with no oversight while people are detained without due process.
Stop warrantless government surveillance of Americans and reform Section 702 and FISA to require a warrant. The government should not get a back door into your calls, emails, and location without a judge's sign-off, no matter who is in power.
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in America, and it is also one of the most curable when it’s caught early. That depends on seeing a dermatologist, often one who can find a suspicious spot and remove it in the same visit. Medicare’s proposed 2027 payment rules would pay half price for a procedure or exam done on the same day as an office visit, and would phase out a payment adjustment that covers practice costs. Those cuts fall heavily on dermatology. Seniors carry most of the skin cancer burden, and many rural counties already have no dermatologist at all. Squeeze those practices and the result is fewer appointments, longer waits, and more patients sent home to come back another day, if they come back at all. Reverse Medicare payment cuts that ration skin cancer detection and treatment, and protect seniors’ access to same-day care.
