The purpose of this bill is to sunset the historic rehabilitation credits in their current disperse locations in the code, provide continued eligibility to current recipients, and to replace those sections with a cohesive article that is easier to utilize and administer.

The purpose of this bill is to provide a statutory framework for lending state funds to local airports for hangar construction to enhance economic development in the state.

E-Verify Safe Harbor Act

The purpose of this bill is to verify the legal employment status of workers and record-keeping requirements and employer compliance. The bill ; defines "employment verification" as the electronic verification system or "E-Verify. The bill prohibits local governments from enacting ordinances that contravene or limit the commissioner; and provides civil protections for employers using E-Verify.

The purpose of this bill is to allow for the receipt of the oil and gas severance tax into the Oil and Gas Abandoned Well Plugging Fund if there is not more than $6 million in unencumbered funds by September 30 of each year.

The purpose of this bill is to require exhibitors of motion pictures who operate two or more theaters in more than one location in this state to provide open captioning during at least two showings per week of each motion picture that is produced and offered with open captioning. The bill requires, when requested, audio description to be provided for any motion picture that is produced and offered with audio description.
