Requires exhibitors of motion pictures operating six or more theaters in West Virginia to provide open captioning and audio description for films.

West Virginia SB493 mandates that exhibitors of motion pictures operating six or more theaters in more than one location in the state must provide open captioning during at least two showings per week for films that are produced and offered with open captioning. Additionally, exhibitors must provide audio description for any motion picture that is produced and offered with audio description, upon request.
