Cut the funding behind ICE's lawless detention and enforcement abuses and restore the independent detention ombudsman meant to hold the agency accountable. No agency should run on a blank check with no oversight while people are detained without due process.
On September 15, Rep. Thomas Massie filed eight articles of impeachment against Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and the House can be forced to vote on them. The Constitution gives Congress, not the executive branch, the power to take the country to war, and it gives the House the power to remove officials who ignore that limit. Keeping American forces in combat in Iran without authorization from Congress is exactly the kind of abuse impeachment exists to answer. Impeachment is not a criminal trial. It is how Congress enforces the oath every official swears to the Constitution. Vote to impeach and remove him.
Ban presidents and members of Congress from profiting off their office: no selling pardons, no slush funds, no steering taxpayer money to personal projects. Public office is a public trust, and the loopholes that let officials cash in should be closed for good.
