An Act To Amend Section 63-3-411, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Require Law Enforcement Officers Responding To The Scene Of A Motor Vehicle Accident That Halts The Flow Of Traffic As The Result Of One Or More Lanes Being Obstructed, To Provide Reasonable Notice To Approaching Motorists Of The Accident Ahead And Subsequent Delay Within 1,295 Feet Or One-quarter Mile Of The Crash Site And Lane Obstruction; To Prescribe The Manner By Which Such Notice May Be Communicated To Other Motorists; To Provide That The Notice Shall Not Be Required When The Law Enforcement Officer Makes A Determination That Notice Is Neither Possible Nor Practicable Under The Circumstances; And For Related Purposes.

An Act Create A New Section Within Title 41, Chapter 61, Mississippi Code Of 1972, To Provide That The Autopsy In The Case Of A Sudden And Unexpected Death Of An Infant Or Child, Including Cases Of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (sids), Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (suid) Or Sudden Death In The Young (sdy), Must Include Microscopic And Toxicology Studies And A Review Of The Child's Immunization And Medical Records; To Require That The Medical Examiner Document In The Autopsy Report Any Immunizations And Emergency Countermeasures Administered To The Infant Or Child Within 90 Days Before The Infant's Or Child's Death And Report The Case To The Suid And Sdy Case Registry; To Provide That The Autopsy In The Case Of A Sudden And Unexpected Death Suspected To Be Caused By Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome (sads) In An Individual Of Any Age Must Include Microscopic And Toxicology Studies And A Review Of The Individual's Immunization And Medical Records; To Require That The Medical Examiner Document In The Autopsy Report Any Immunizations And Emergency Countermeasures Administered To The Individual Within 90 Days Before His Or Her Death And Report The Case To The Suid And Sdy Case Registry If The Individual Was Younger Than 20 Years Of Age At The Time Of Death; To Establish Administrative Penalties To Be Imposed Against A County Medical Examiner Who Fails To Report A Case Of Sids, Suid Or Sdy, Or Of Sads For Individuals Younger Than 20 Years Of Age, To The Suid And Sdy Case Registry Within 30 Days After Completing The Autopsy Report; To Designate Compliance With Such Reporting And Documentation Requirements As A Permissible Disclosure Under State And Federal Medical Privacy Laws; To Define Terms; To Bring Forward Sections 41-61-59, 41-61-63 And 41-61-65, Mississippi Code Of 1972, For The Purpose Of Possible Amendment; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To State Legislative Findings; To Require Law Enforcement Agencies Operating In The State To Maintain And Publicly Post A Written Policy Regarding The Use Of Facial Coverings; To Set Forth Certain Minimum Standards Of The Policy; To Provide That A Law Enforcement Officer Shall Not Wear A Facial Covering That Conceals Or Obscures Their Facial Identity In The Performance Of Their Duties, Except As Expressly Authorized In This Section; To Provide That A Willful And Knowing Violation Of This Prohibition Is Punishable As An Infraction Or As A Misdemeanor; To Provide Certain Exceptions; And For Related Purposes.

An Act To Establish The State Correctional Facilities Monitoring Unit; To Provide That The Monitoring Unit Shall Be Within The Department Of Public Safety; To Provide That The Monitoring Unit Shall Provide Certain Investigation And Evaluation Of The State Correctional Facilities As Well As Any Private Correctional Facilities That Are Utilized By The State To House State Offenders; To Require The Monitoring Unit To Make Available Certain Reports Pertaining To Its Monitoring Of The State Correctional Facilities; To Require The Department Of Public Safety To Contract With A Correctional Facility Expert Who Shall Provide Certain Training For The Monitors; And For Related Purposes.
