Introduced·2/25/25

Allows House to consider resolutions disapproving energy and environmental rules and setting the federal budget.

This resolution allows the House to consider joint resolutions disapproving specific rules: one from the Department of Energy on energy conservation standards for gas-fired water heaters and another from the Environmental Protection Agency on waste emissions charges for petroleum and natural gas systems. It also enables consideration of a concurrent resolution establishing the federal budget for fiscal year 2025 and setting budgetary levels for fiscal years 2026 through 2034. The resolution waives certain procedural rules to expedite the consideration of these matters.
