The MATCH Act of 2026 amends the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act to establish talent marketplaces. These marketplaces are platforms that match individuals with employment and learning opportunities using user-provided information. The bill authorizes the Secretary of Labor to award grants to eligible entities to create workforce longitudinal data systems, talent marketplaces, and associated resources. Eligible entities include State agencies, workforce agencies, or consortia of State agencies. The grants can be used to improve program quality, hiring, or education.
