Mr. Walkinshaw (for himself, Mr. Beyer, Ms. Norton, Mr. Raskin, Mr. Subramanyam, Mr. Mfume, and Mr. Vindman) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and in addition to the Committees on Appropriations, House Administration, the Judiciary, and Armed Services, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned
A BILL
To provide for appropriations to pay Federal employees and contractors during periods of lapses in appropriations in fiscal year 2026, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Short title.
This Act may be cited as the “True Shutdown Fairness Act”.
