As introduced, Bill 26-542 would require that DHCD offer administrative assistance to affordable housing development projects to promote prompt attention from utility partners in the permitting process. It would require DHCD to make technical expert consultants available to these same projects to reduce how often utility connection design issues catch developers off guard. It would require insurers to provide enhanced underinsured motor vehicle coverage under a passenger vehicle liability insurance policy. As introduced, Bill 26-654 would create a medical cannabis beverage production endorsement, which would authorize the endorsement holder to produce medical cannabis beverages for licensed medical cannabis manufacturers. The bill would further authorize the holders of certain alcohol manufacturer’s license classes to hold a medical cannabis beverage production endorsement. It would also clarify tax laws related to the taxation of medical cannabis and medical cannabis products.
