Removing state agencies' requirement to submit annual reports for certain businesses

The purpose of this bill is to remove the requirement that state agencies submit annual progress reports on small, women and minority-owned business procurement to the Department of Administration.

Relating to meetings for local levying bodies

The purpose of this bill is to, upon application to the Auditor and for "good cause," allow municipalities to conduct late meetings and file late reports

Relating to federally approved project delivery methods for airport capital improvement projects

The purpose of this bill is to expressly authorize airport authorities under state law to utilize project delivery methods approved or authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration in order to efficiently and safely plan, procure, and construct airport infrastructure projects funded through the Federal Aviation Administration's Airport Improvement Program, including the Federal Aviation Administration Integrated Project Delivery Pilot Program established under 49 U.S.C. §47123 and any successor programs.

Permitting Adjutant General to pay employees during federal government shutdown or furlough

The purpose of this bill is to permit the Adjutant General to pay employees during a federal government shutdown or furlough.

Supplemental Appropriation to Department of Health, fund 8802

The purpose of this supplemental appropriation bill is to add a new item of appropriation in the aforesaid account for the designated spending unit for expenditure during the fiscal year 2026.

Creating alternative DOH procurement procedure

The purpose of this chapter is to authorize the use of certain alternative contracting procedures, to prescribe appropriate requirements to ensure that such contracting procedures serve the public interest, and to establish a process for evaluation of such contracting procedures.

Relating to Property Valuation Training and Procedures Commission

The purpose of this bill is to require that one citizen member of the state's property valuation training and procedures commission have a background in or knowledge of agriculture

Relating to obtaining title to abandoned or junked motor vehicles abandoned on the property or place of business of an automobile dealer

The purpose of this bill is to remove the requirement that the loan value of the motor vehicle be less than $9,500 to allow an automobile dealer, licensed automobile auction, motor vehicle repair facility or towing company upon whose property or place of business an abandoned or junked motor vehicle has been abandoned to obtain a certificate of title and registration for the abandoned motor vehicle or junked vehicle.

Removing county residency requirement for county superintendent of schools

The purpose of this bill is to remove the requirement for a county superintendent of schools to reside in the county in which he or she serves or in a contiguous county.

Allowing installation of cattle guards on certain public roads

The purpose of this bill is to permit the installation of cattle guards on certain public roads.

Allowing enforcement of Purple Heart parking spaces taken by non-Purple Heart recipients

The purpose of this bill is to grant authority for enforcement of the Purple Heart parking spaces so that only those who have earned this medal may use those spaces, and establish penalties for those who park in these spaces without having earned the designation.

Historic Rehab Building Credit Act

The purpose of this bill is to sunset the historic rehabilitation credits in their current disperse locations in the code, provide continued eligibility to current recipients, and to replace those sections with a cohesive article that is easier to utilize and administer.

The purpose of this bill is to establish a revised method of school aid funding.

The purpose of this supplemental appropriation bill is to add a new item of appropriation in the aforesaid account for the designated spending unit for expenditure during the fiscal year 2026.

Future Ready Education Act

The purpose of this bill is to establish the Future-Ready Education Act, to enable local boards of education to enter into long-term contracts for textbooks resulting in fiscal savings, to expand the Mountain State Digital Literacy Program, to requires educators to be trained in the science of reading, and to provide funding for the science of reading training.

Providing a statutory program for loaning financial assistance to local airports for airplane hangar construction in this state

The purpose of this bill is to provide a statutory framework for lending state funds to local airports for hangar construction to enhance economic development in the state.

Relating to registration of voters and voluntary registration of organ donors

The purpose of this bill is to include an option for persons to indicate their choice to become an organ donor when registering to vote or modifying their voter registration.

Prohibiting certain restrictions on regulation of accessory dwelling units

The purpose of this bill is to prohibit municipalities from prohibiting certain restrictions on the regulation of accessory dwelling units.

Supplemental appropriation to Department of Education, fund 0313.

The purpose of supplemental appropriation bill is to amend an item of appropriation in the aforesaid section and account for the designated spending units for expenditure during the fiscal year 2026.

E-Verify Safe Harbor Act

The purpose of this bill is to verify the legal employment status of workers and record-keeping requirements and employer compliance. The bill ; defines "employment verification" as the electronic verification system or "E-Verify. The bill prohibits local governments from enacting ordinances that contravene or limit the commissioner; and provides civil protections for employers using E-Verify.
