Ohio SB97 doubles fines for failing to yield to funeral processions.

Ohio SB97 amends the state's Revised Code to double the fines for failing to yield to funeral processions. The bill specifies that funeral processions consist of two or more vehicles with headlights on and purple and white or orange and white pennants visible. Violators face increased fines, especially if distracted driving contributes to the offense. The bill also repeals the existing section 4511.451 of the Revised Code.
