Introduced Text

Ohio SB452 clarifies that only natural persons can vote in state elections.

Ohio SB452 amends the state's Revised Code to specify that only natural persons can vote in state elections. It defines a natural person as a citizen of the United States who is at least eighteen years old, has been a resident of the state for thirty days before the election, and is a resident of the county and precinct where they intend to vote. The bill also allows the board of elections to assign voters to adjoining precincts if necessary.
