Establishes family and medical leave insurance benefits in Ohio.

Ohio SB396 establishes family and medical leave insurance benefits. Employers with 15 or more employees must remit premiums to the director of job and family services. Employers with fewer than 15 employees are not required to remit premiums. Eligible individuals can receive benefits for serious health conditions, caring for family members with serious health conditions, addressing qualifying exigencies, and other reasons. Benefits are calculated based on the individual's average weekly wage.
