Expands the offense of aggravated menacing to include threats against utility, cable, or broadband workers.

The bill amends the Revised Code to expand the offense of aggravated menacing to include knowingly causing a utility, cable, or broadband worker to believe that the offender will cause serious physical harm to the worker or to property by threatening the worker with a deadly weapon. The offense is a misdemeanor of the first degree, a felony of the fourth degree if the victim is a public children services agency officer or employee, and a felony of the fifth degree if the offender has a prior conviction of aggravated menacing.
