Ohio SB310 mandates fetal development instruction in public schools.

Ohio SB310 requires public schools to include fetal development instruction in any curriculum addressing human growth, development, or sexuality. This instruction must feature a high-quality, computer-generated animation or a high-definition ultrasound video, at least three minutes in duration, showing the development of the brain, heart, and other vital organs in early fetal development. The bill also mandates that students be excused from this instruction upon written request of their parent or guardian.
