Ohio SB298 amends the Revised Code to revise regulations on virtual net metering and meter aggregation. The bill defines "virtual net metering customer" as a person, including a hospital, that contracts for or acquires electricity generated by a virtual net metering system, excluding residential customers. It also defines "virtual net metering system" as a facility that satisfies generation and transmission charges imposed on the customer, with the customer billed for all distribution-related charges.
