Introduced·10/8/25
Introduced Text

Exempts certain conservation land from recoupment charges in Ohio.

Ohio SB285 amends the Revised Code to exempt certain conservation land from recoupment charges. Specifically, it excludes land acquired by public entities through means other than eminent domain and converted for public outdoor education, recreation, or similar open space uses, provided the land remains principally undeveloped. The bill also repeals existing section 5713.34 of the Revised Code and applies to conversions occurring after the bill's effective date.
