The bill creates a task force to tackle the issue of missing and murdered Black, Indigenous, and People of Color women and girls in Ohio. The task force will work with state agencies to develop policy changes, identify major traffic hubs and highways that facilitate abductions, and create a statewide awareness campaign. It will also hold public meetings to gather input and submit reports to state leaders. The task force is funded with an appropriation of $250,000 for fiscal years 2026 and 2027.
