Ohio SB162 amends the Revised Code to establish that a payment made by a third-party payer to a provider is considered final two years after the payment is made. During this period, the third-party payer may initiate recovery of any overpayment. If the provider fails to respond to the notice of the determination of overpayment, the third-party payer may recover the overpayment by deducting the amount from other payments or by taking other available remedies.
